2016 is a special year for Lego. Why?

Year 2016, Lego celebrate 50 year anniversary for the train products. The first train product was launched in Year 1966. Do you guys still remember which is the first Lego train set?
The answer is Lego 113 Motorized Train Set.

In conjunction with the 50 years Lego Train on track, Lego had given out the Lego 4002016 50 years on the track as Lego Employee Gift for 2016.

Based on the front of the box, we can know that this set consists of 1141pcs. This make me understand why the price on the reseller site jump up to average USD 300 per set (exclude shipping).

Parts/ Elements

Based on my observation, there is one element exclusive for this set. The element i means is Lego 50254 Train Wheel Small, Hole Notched for Wheels Holder Pin in Red color.

Overall, this set should never miss out by Lego Train Collectors. It not a short journey of the 50 years on track. Lego did it.... Another 50 years coming....
